The story of Muhammad

1-Introduction

 

The qualities of the Messenger of God were:

1.   Good character
2.   Trustworthiness
3.   Honesty

 So, I am here to clarify the true story of the Messenger of God peace be upon him

 

2-Muhammad's early life

 

.The Messenger of God peace be upon him was born in Mecca

 

and it was customary for Arabs to give their children to Bedouin people to teach them:

•  Proper Arabic language free from any impurities
•  Horsemanship
•  Good manners

 

So, the Bedouin womens came to choose who would be their child by breastfeeding

 

and they avoided Muhammad because he was an orphan

 

 they did not want him because Muhammad’s father died

 

.while he was in his mother’s womb

 Then Halima Al-Saadiya came, the wet nurse of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him

 

she took him and then said “After I took him our livestock increased and our lands were blessed because of Muhammad"

 

Then after a year Halima Al-Saadiya asked Muhammad’s mother to keep him with her and

she agreed.

3-Muhammad’s childhood period peace be upon him

 

After he reached four years old, children came running and told Halima that two men had .come to Muhammad and split his chest

 

 she came to Muhammad and saw him standing

 

so, she said to him what is wrong, he said mother two men came and split my chest then she feared for him and returned him to his mother

 

after that muhammad's mother said that she:

1.  Carried him as if it were nothing
2.  a light came out of me that illuminated for me the palaces of Sham at birth

 

 Halima Al-Saadiya told people about this matter then after that Jews heard about this matter, 

so they wanted to kill Mohammed

 

because Jews have in their books that these are characteristics of God’s coming prophet, so they do not want it from Arabs

 

So Jewish scholars went out to the Prophet’s mother and asked her about it and about his birth then after that they asked her if his father is alive or dead

 

so she said he was alive fearing for her son Muhammad then Muhammad’s mother died when he was six years old.

 

then his grandfather took care of him And his grandfather was one of Makkah’s greats, rather its sultan Then after a while his grandfather died

 

And before his death he entrusted his son with taking care of Muhammad after his death

 

So, Muhammad’s uncle took care of him He was keen on Muhmmad

 .So things continued like this for a while

 

4-Muhammad peace be upon him in his youth

 

Muhammad nicknames:

• The Trustworthy
• He did not worship idols with Quraysh
• He did not prostrate to anyone but Allah

 

Then after that Khadija met the Prophet’s uncle then he offered her to work with Muhammad because she was a businesswoman

 

Khadija agreed and was very happy because Muhammad was:

• Trustworthy
• Honest
• And also blessed

So Khadija sent Muhammad when he was twenty-three years old

on a business trip and sent a man with him to tell her what he saw from Muhammad.

The man returned and told her that he saw three things on the trip with Muhammad.

 

He said:

1-"The first is that since we left Mecca until we reached Sham, there was a cloud above Muhammad shading him from the sunlight.

I wanted to test him so I said do you want us to race?

I wanted from this to move Muhammad away from the cloud.

He accepted the challenge and the cloud followed him wherever he went.

 

2-the second thing is that when we arrived in Sham, Muhammad went under a tree and started buying and selling.

One of the rabbis came to me and said who is this?

I said this is Muhammad bin Abdullah from Quraysh

He said no one takes shelter under this tree except for a prophet.

 

3-The third thing is that on the way of travel, the Messenger did not descend under a tree

 until it covered his entire body and let him took it's fruits."

After that Khadija became comfortable with Muhammad peace be upon him

khadija was one of the most noble women of Quraysh.

She married two men before Muhammad and had three sons. Many elders of Quraysh proposed to her but she refused.

After two years from Muhammad’s return from trade, Khadijah saw in her dream that the moon or sun entered her house

then Khadijah went to her cousin and told him what she saw in her dream. He said

“if what you say is true then prophecy will enter your house"

Then she proposed to Muhammad to marry her  then the Messenger married her when he was twenty-five years old and she was forty years old.

After ten years, the Arabs revered the Kaaba, especially Quraysh who greatly revered the Kaaba. Then something happened in the Kaaba,

There was a woman fumigating the Kaaba and then a spark of fire flew from the censer and burned the Kaaba. After that Quraysh began rebuilding the Kaaba

They reached the Black Stone to replace it and there was an altercation between Quraysh’s tribes over who would place the Black Stone

They reached a decision to appoint someone to judge them They chose Muhammad to judge them,

so he placed the Black Stone on a cloak carried by all tribal leaders. Then Muhammad took the stone and placed it in it's correct position

At this moment he was thirty-five years old and his mission was approaching.

The Jews had news of Muhammad’s mission for a long time

Then after five years Muhammad was sent as Allah’s messenger.
